Provenance & Traceability

We are strict in our rough procurement policy to purchase diamonds that are ethical, sustainable and with provenance. This policy relays to supplying the finest polished diamonds that are guaranteed to be ethical, sustainable and with provenance.

At GDiam, we adhere to the highest level of standards to show the provenance of our fine diamonds. Currently, we operate with the latest Technologies to show proof of provenance, along with our in-house advanced ERP to trace every diamond manufactured in our facility.

We provide full provenance for single stone diamonds (solitaires) from 0.18 – 1 carats tracing it’s mine, mining company and country of origin.

For loose diamonds mix parcels, we provide an accurate proportion of the diamonds’ traceability mentioning the mine, mining company and country of origin. For example, a 2.80 – 2.85 MM excellent VVS parcel has 70% DTC, 20% Catoca, and 10% Ekapa. The country of origin would be DTC (Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, Canada), Catoca (Angola) and Ekapa (South Africa).
